How often should I test for HIV?

How often you should get tested for HIV depends on your circumstances. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that everyone be tested for HIV at least once.

Some people at increased risk for HIV infection benefit from more frequent testing. If you are HIV positive, or are on treatment or preventive treatment for HIV, this test is not meant for you.

When will my results be ready?

Your test results are ready 20 minutes after testing and must be read 20-40 minutes after you start the test.
